Peoples Food Policy
The People’s Food Policy Project (PFPP) is a coalition of over 1000 farmers, healthcare professionals and others concerned about Canada’s food system. (Canada, in fact, has no national food policy!) Over a year, they developed 10 food policies, but before they presented them to the government, they wanted to build a relationship with the general public and include them in the discussion. But they didn’t know how.
We provided the static PFPP website with an edgier design, and a communications strategy that generated national and regional media coverage that engaged the Canadian public to participate in almost 100 cross-country Kitchen Table Talks facilitated by PFPP animators and volunteers.
